Ooh, I want to share Marit Larsen’s new single If A Song Could Get Me You from the album The Chase. I’m excited because I thoroughly enjoyed her first one, Under The Surface. Ms. Larsen used to be one half of Norwegian pop duo M2M and she started her solo career in 2005. I’m glad that she did because I love her pop/folk music, very refreshing and original. I also find it impressive that she plays an assortment of instruments (guitar, piano, etc) and she writes her own songs. There’s also a sense of honesty from her music, almost like you can see her personality through them. ML is also as cute as a button hehehe. Here she is singing unplugged at a public market.

Nandun kasi si John Lloyd, I liked him very much in that movie with Bea…uhhh title…One More Chance, I think. Can I just say Filipino movies are so bad with titles. They’re always named after songs, which make them indistinct and corny (sorry but true hehehe).

I hate Saturday nights. Bakit? Kasi parang tinetest ang self control ko. Pero ngayong gabi I’m putting my foot down and I’m not doing whatever it is that I’m thinking of doing. 1. tingling sa paa, frequent urinations - kala ko may diabetes ako at nakakaranas na ako ng neuro- and nephropathy. Guilty ako kasi ang lala ng sweet tooth ko. Pero ngayon bihira na ako kumain ng chocolate. Promise.

2. nahihirapan ako lumunok - feeling ko may esophageal cancer ako, takot ako kasi mabilis daw mamatay.

3. iniisip ko nga kung may fracture ako sa shin kasi sumasakit minsan.

4. shortness of breath and palpitations - for various reasons, depende sa nangyayari, like anxiety, panic, nervousness, stress.

5. naisip ko nga na baka nastretch na masyado ang bituka ko kaya malaki ang tiyan ko (katakawan hehehe) kasi may napanuod ako sa TV about a museum ng weird medical stuff na may lalaki na may ganung condition. I don’t know if the previous sentence even makes sense.

6. Minsan isang gabi akala ko may scabies (aka galis) ako sa kaliwang kilay hehehe. Kasi sabi mas nararamdam siya sa gabi na parang gumagapang sa ilalim ng balat kasi nakaburrow sa ilalim ng balat yung mga scabies tapos sa gabi sila nangitngitlog. Pag kinakamot ko nawawala tapos bumabalik tapos ilang beses ako naghilamos ayaw pa rin umalis. Hanggang nakalimutan ko na lang siguro nawala na din.

Dahil pala sa scabies na yan may nalaman akong mga bagong word etymologies:

Nitpicking - To be concerned with or find fault with insignificant details.
Di ba yung anak ng mga lice ang tawag nits eh di kapag nagtatanggal ka ng mga lisa di ba attention to small details talaga yun hehehe. Thus the word nitpicking. Makes sense. This is according to wikipedia, if I remember correctly.

Yay! I finished all of Burn Notice’s season 1 yesterday. Now I love it even more. I have to wait for two more weeks for summer’s last two episodes hayyy…too long. I was trolling on Youtube a little bit and found this clip. It’s from the climatic part of episode 11 of season 1. Here Michael pursues a major lead for his burn notice and leaves Fiona and Sam to handle a job on their own. Part of what I like about this scene is the score; it fits perfectly.

When I first heard Apologize by One Republic I couldn’t help liking it. I just thought it was strange that it was credited Timbaland feat One Republic because I saw the video and Timbaland just added some beat, admittedly it’s catchy, and “yeah yeah yeah” hehehe. Apparently the song was written by a band member, Ryan Tedder. I thought of looking up the original version and it’s a nice, little surprise. I love to hear the clear sound of the piano, violin, and there’s even a guitar solo.
